IEYDA President Uthman Jagunma Calls for Peace Between Mudirul Markaz and Mufty Diyar in Ilorin

The National President of the Ilorin Emirates Youth Descendant Association (IEYDA), Alhaji Uthman Jagunma, has called for peace, unity, and mutual understanding between Mudirul Markaz and Mufty Diyar.

Speaking on behalf of the entire youths of the Ilorin Emirate, the IEYDA President appealed to both respected Islamic scholars and their followers to embrace peaceful dialogue and maintain the long-standing tradition of harmony within the Emirate.

Alhaji Jagunma stressed that Ilorin has historically been known for religious tolerance, unity, and deep respect among scholars and Islamic institutions. He noted that preserving these values is essential for sustaining peace and strengthening the bond within the Muslim community.

According to him, the youths of Ilorin Emirate hold both scholars in high regard due to their contributions to Islamic knowledge and community development. He therefore urged all parties involved to avoid actions or statements capable of causing division among Muslims in the Emirate.

“The peace and unity of Ilorin Emirate must remain our top priority. Our scholars are pillars of guidance, and it is important that issues are resolved through wisdom, dialogue, and mutual respect,” the IEYDA President said.

He further encouraged followers and supporters of both scholars to exercise patience, maintain decorum, and avoid spreading messages that could escalate tensions within the community.

Alhaji Jagunma reaffirmed the commitment of the Ilorin Emirates Youth Descendant Association to promoting peace, unity, and progress across the Emirate. He also called on community leaders, religious stakeholders, and youth groups to support efforts aimed at fostering reconciliation and peaceful coexistence.

The IEYDA President concluded by emphasizing that unity among Islamic scholars and community leaders remains vital for the continued growth, stability, and development of Ilorin Emirate.
